    KilnGuides is the hub page for a family of free information platforms serving UK workers — self-employed and employed. This privacy notice covers kilnguides.co.uk specifically. Each linked brand (SiteKiln, PropertyKiln, BeautyKiln, TrustKiln, etc.) has its own privacy notice covering that site's specific data collection.

    Data Controller

    Data protection fee paid: 18 April 2026. ICO registration is in progress — the full registration number will be displayed here upon ICO confirmation, typically within 24–48 hours of payment.

    FTJ Designs will transfer controller status to Kiln Network Ltd (company number 17324534) shortly. This notice will be updated at that point.

    What data this site collects

    KilnGuides is a hub directory. We do not run a newsletter or require signup. We collect only:

    • Anonymous analytics via Plausible Analytics (EU-hosted, cookieless). No IP retention, no cookies, no visitor identification. Used to understand which Kiln brands visitors are heading to.
    • Launch-notification emails (optional). If you enter your email next to a "coming soon" Kiln brand (SiteKiln, GigKiln, LogisticsKiln, etc.) to be notified when it launches, we store your email address and the brand you signed up for. We use it once — to email you when that brand goes live — and then delete it. We never share, sell, or use it for anything else. You can ask us to delete it any time at create@ftjdesigns.co.uk.
    • No cookies beyond a single cookie-consent preference cookie, set only if you interact with the consent banner.

    If you click through to a linked Kiln brand (SiteKiln, PropertyKiln, BeautyKiln, etc.), that brand's own privacy notice applies for anything you do there.

    Lawful basis

    Anonymous analytics: legitimate interest (understanding aggregate traffic). Launch-notification emails: consent (you actively submit the form). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing create@ftjdesigns.co.uk.

    Data processors

    • Plausible Analytics — anonymous page view counts, EU-hosted.
    • Supabase (EU region) — secure storage of launch-notification emails only.

    No third-party advertising, retargeting, cross-site cookies, or data resale.

    Your rights under UK GDPR

    Access, correct, delete, restrict, object, portability, withdraw consent. Complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

    We are small. We will respond to any data request within 48 hours, and certainly within the 30-day legal window.
